missed connections

sophie blackall is a well-established illustrator who has a blog and etsy store where she sells works from her latest project  missed connections.  the project revolves around people who have seen a stranger they were fascinated by, be it at a party or on the subway, and would like to see again.  they post descriptions online and sophie uses the information as inspiration for her works…they are so wonderfully surreal and capture that perfect moment of “person-watching” and the rapture one gets with the occasiona stranger: all the possibilities that stem from “not knowing”.
